Andrew Mazzone of the Brighton Black Sox is the winner of the 2020 Carl Yastrzemski Most Valuable Player.

Playing in all 14 regular season games, Mazzone had 20 hits with at least one hit in all but one game. Mazzone scored 11 runs and drove in 11 runs accounting for 32 percent of his teams total runs.

His .513 batting average would tie for the league lead, as did his two home runs. Mazzone finished second in the league with 6 doubles a .872 slugging percentage and OPS of 1.425

Currently a sophomore at Dickinson College (PA), Mazzone is in his second season with the Black Sox. In 2019, Mazzone won the Silver Slugger for first base and finished second in the Rookie of the Year. And in 2020, Mazzone won his second consecutive Silver Slugger Award.
