The Yawkey Baseball League is proud to award the 2022 Franchise of the Year to the Al Thomas Athletics.
Coming off a 2021 season that saw them win 21 games and a championship, the Al Thomas Club would once again win 21 games and secure the top playoff seed.
In the playoffs Al Thomas swept the Brighton Braves in the semifinal round. And in a rematch of the 2021 finals, Al Thomas defeated the Brighton Black Sox 4-1 to capture the 2022 YBL championship.
Congrats to all involved with the Al Thomas franchise for another great season.
