Cam Plank of the Al Thomas Athletics has been named the 2024 Carl Yastrzemski Most Valuable Player.
Plank distinguished himself not only as one of the league’s top offensive players but also as an exceptional catcher. Over the course of 28 games, he led the league with a .484 batting average and topped several other categories, including 44 hits, 14 doubles, 28 RBIs, a .569 on-base percentage, and 33 stolen bases.
In his seventh season with Al Thomas, Plank also took on the role of field manager. This marks his second MVP award, following his first in 2022. In addition to being named MVP, Plank earned both the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards for catcher this season.
