2025 Comeback Player Of The Year

The Yawkey League is proud to announce Jake Hatch of the Brighton Black Sox as the 2025 recipient of the Tony Conigliaro Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Jake Hatch was not new the the Yawkey League. Hatch first played for the Brighton Black Sox in 2020 making the All Rookie team that year. However after the 2021 season, Hatch moved on to play in other leagues including the New York Perfect Game League.

After two years at Manhattan College, 2025 saw the return of Hatch the Brighton Black Sox. In 29 games Hatch would post a .435 AVG with 37 hits including 9 doubles, 3 triples and 1 home run. He would also steal 9 bases. He scored 30 runs and drove in 29. Hatch would be awarded both a Silver Slugger and Gold Glove at second base, while finishing second in the MVP voting.
