The Yawkey Baseball League is proud to announce David Treska as the recipient of the 2025 Steve George Executive of the Year Award.
A longtime and invaluable member of the board, Treska has consistently assisted with permitting and scheduling. This season, he took on an additional challenge, stepping into the role of Treasurer — a difficult but essential responsibility.
In that role, Treska oversaw the creation of a realistic budget that allowed for 30 games to be played without placing an undue burden on players’ dues. He also managed the unenviable task of collecting payments and ensured the league’s finances remained on solid footing.
Thanks to his dedication and steady leadership, the Yawkey League was able to complete another successful season. Congratulations to David on this well-deserved honor.
