The Yawkey League is proud to announce Jeff Meisner of the Brighton Black Sox as the 2025 recipient of the Pedro Martinez Pitcher of the Year Award.
In his second season with the Black Sox, Meisner returned to the league fresh off a standout campaign at Central Maine Community College, where he helped his team capture the Yankee Small College Conference title and earn a berth in the USCAA Small College World Series.
On the mound for the Black Sox Meisner, appeared in seven games, making six starts, and compiled a 4–0 record with a league-best 2.05 ERA. Over 27.1 innings, he limited opponents to just 25 hits and 12 walks while striking out 26 batters.
