The Yawkey Baseball League is proud to recognize Doug George as the recipient of the 2025 President’s Award.
Over the past two seasons, George has been a generous supporter of both the Yawkey League and the McKay Club, with his contributions playing a vital role in sustaining league operations.
The George family name carries a long and storied history in the Yawkey League. The Executive of the Year Award is named for Doug’s father, Steve. His brother, Kevin, was a longtime player and coach, and this season his sons, Doug and Charlie, both took the field as Yawkey League players.
