As the 2019 season gets under way, the Yawkey League is fortunate to have Bob Marra (roma33 @ comcast.net) photographing some of our games.

Join the Revere Rockies on this Saturday and Sunday at Tony Conigliaro Field on the campus of Revere High School for the Opening Games of the 2019 YBL season.

The Rockies will host two twilight games.

Saturday – May 11 at 5 PM
East Boston Knights vs Revere Rockies

Sunday – May 12 at 5 PM
South Boston Saints vs Revere Rockies

As the calendar turns from March to April, the Yawkey League is looking forward to the 2019 season. The league is looking to build on a 2018 seasons which was one of the most competitive in recent memory. Three teams finished within a point of first place, while three teams went down to the wire for the final playoff spot. A new playoff format saw competitive series, that culminated in a game 7 that took extra innings to decide.

All ten teams from last season will be returning for 2019. As the teams begin to prepare for the start of the regular season, most are still looking for players to fill out their rosters. Anyone interested in joining the league, should fill out a player registration form that will be sent to all the teams.

Prospective players are also welcome to contact the franchises that interest them.

Operation Homefront is raffling two Bruins tickets with proceeds going to support Operation Homefront in their efforts to support local military families.

Raffle Tickets are $10 per ticket. $25 for 3 tickets.

Drawing will be on Saturday December 15.
