Al Thomas recognized by BoSox Club


The Al Thomas Club was honored by the BoSox Club at their annual Hot Stove luncheon recognizing local amateur champions. Representing Al Thomas at the luncheon were Cam Plank, Jay Gamboa and Paul Wydom. They were joined by former Red Sox players Lenny DiNardo and Rico Petrocelli.

Three Awards for Gamboa

The Yawkey League is proud to announce Jay Gamboa of the Al Thomas Athletics as the winner of three of its league awards.

For his outstanding regular season, Gamboa was named the Johnny Pesky Rookie of the Year Award as well as the Pedro Martinez Pitcher of the Year. And for his work in the postseason, Gamboa was named the David Ortiz Post Season MVP.

Congrats Jay on an outstanding season

2022 Awards Cookout


The Yawkey League will be hosting a cookout at the Milton American Legion Post at Heritage Hall (map) on Saturday September 24 starting at 3pm.

The event allows will not only honor this year’s league award winners, but also this year’s league champions, the Al Thomas Athletics.

Admission is free. Food for the cookout will be provided free of charge. There will be a cash bar.

Please join us as we celebrate all of this year’s award winners.
