The YBL is proud to announce the winners of the President’s Award as well as the Tom and Jean Yawkey Appreciation Award. The awards are being presented to two organizations that have shown great support for the Yawkey League over the years.
The support shown for the YBL by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home dates back to the early 1980s. That support has continued to this day and includes the awarding of the Alfred D Thomas Baseball Scholarship.
In addition to its continued sponsorship of the baseball franchise, the Al Thomas Funeral Home provided additional funds to help the league secure permits during the 2021 finals.
For their continued support of the league, the YBL is proud to name the Al Thomas Funeral Home this year’s recipient of the President’s Award.
The City of Boston Credit Union has been continued financial supporter of not only the McKay Club Beacons, but the league as well. For their continued contributes to the league, the YBL is proud to award the Tom and Jean Yawkey Appreciation Award to the City of Boston Credit Union.
